Mrs. Alexis Phillips

Hey y’all! My name is Alexis Acomb, now Phillips. I just graduated from Concordia University – Seward, Nebraska in May 2019, so I’m fresh off the cap. I was born in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, but raised in the good old south where the front porch was a place to relax, the tea was sweet, and the community was friendly. I enjoy being outdoors all the time, but also wouldn’t mind having some down time drinking coffee and reading a good book. I absolutely love and adore cows, so don’t be surprised if you see some cows in my classroom.

Mission Statement

My mission as a Lutheran schoolteacher is to be the hands and feet of God. I believe that everything I do will be for the glory of God. I believe that every one of my students has the capability to be successful. I will provide the necessary tools for my students to make this a reality whether it’d be emotional, spiritual, or academic support. I will provide a safe classroom environment where my students can feel they can take and make risks.

Matthew 17:20
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
