Four Year-Old Preschool.....Where learning is fun!

Four-year-old classes are offered in 2-day sessions (Tuesday-Thursday) or 3-day sessions (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) per week. Each class meets for 2 1/2 hours. Morning sessions run from 8:45-11:15 a.m. Afternoon classes are held from 12:45-3:15 p.m.

Each class is instructed by a state-certified teacher along with a teacher assistant. Class size is limited to 14 students.

The daily itinerary includes circle time, story time, activity time, center time, recess, snack time and Jesus time.

Currently we are using the Houghton Mifflin Pre-K curriculum which meets Ohio Learning Content Standards. The ten units covered over the course of the school year include: Welcome to School, My Family/My Community, Animals Everywhere, Changing and Growing, Seasons All Around, In the City/In the County, Construction Zones, On the Move, My Five Senses and Ready for Kindergarten.

Throughout the year we also celebrate holidays, have monthly chapel times, and go on field trips throughout the community.
