Our three year-old preschool program is a high quality program whose mission is care and education. First and foremost, our program meets the standards of the profession. Our standards include seven key indicators that identify an early childhood program of good quality. Our developmentally appropriate program contains three interwoven elements: age appropriateness, individual appropriateness, and cultural/social appropriateness vital to a high quality early childhood program.
- Our program is based on accepted theories of child development we know that at each stage of life, children take on special developmental tasks and challenges related to their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Our program is individualized to meet the needs of every child. A knowledge of child development tells you what is age appropriate, that is, what children in general are like at a given age.
- Each family's culture and religion is respected and all family members are encouraged to participate in the program.
- Our physical environment is safe, healthy, and contains a variety of toys and materials that are both stimulating and familiar.
- Children in our program select activities and materials that interest them, and they learn by being actively involved.
- Adults in our program show respect for children and interact with them in caring ways.
- Our staff has specialized training in child development and appropriate programming.

Centers
Children from birth to age eight learn chiefly through their senses: The younger the child, the more he or she will taste something to discover what it is. Once they have discovered what a thing is, children will explore the object to see what it does. Beyond that, they begin to experiment to see what they can do with the object. Our curriculum is activity-based in order to help children learn to their God-given capacity. Centers facilitate thee learning activities best. We explore different themes throughout the year using a centers-based approach to learning.
Goals for the 3 year-old program
- To instill a love of reading in your child.

- To teach them that Jesus, their friend, loves them.
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. I John 1:3 |
